A visit to Agora

2012.07.05 Thursday

I am going to stay at this Agora Children Art Factory in a village and
work for a project from the 28th of this month until the end of August.
It is called "KAME no Tsubasa Project" ,which supports artists to work.
Artists are chosen yearly, and this project continues 10years from 2012.
This is our third visit to Agora to talk to the project members about our stay.

Artist in Residence

2012.06.21 Thursday

I am going to participate in the residency program this coming summer,
to stay for a month from the end of July
at Agora Children Art Factory based in Kakegawa, Shizuoka.
This will be the first experience for me to work at the place I don't really know.
I wonder how much things I can do during the stay.
There are hopes and fears at the same time.

Tambourelli

2012.06.10 Sunday

I have started playing a new type of sport called Tambourelli since a year ago.
What that is about is you hit a shuttlecock for badminton
with a bat like a tambourine without the jingle.
The rules for Tambourelli is mostly the same as badminton's,
but the way you hit is not so strict like badminton,
so the beginners can play more easily.
I personally like this new sport because it is unrestricted and free.
Now my Japanese friend met Tambourelli in England,
after he came back to Japan, he stated introducing in Japan.
